How Do I Meet People?

Here are some opportunities to meet and get to know others at the Allensburg Church of Christ.

 

Children’s Bible Study

Each Sunday morning an evening, children get to participate in their own classes. Bible lessons are taught in such a way that every child gets to participate and learn. Children’s Church is also provided for children in preschool through 6th grade. Youth meetings for elementary students is held on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 during the fall, winter and early spring.

Middle School Bible Study

Bible studies for middle school students are held at the Lynchburg-Clay Middle School building on Wednesday afternoons after school dismisses. Middle School students also meet on Sunday mornings and evenings.

High School Bible Study

Bible studies for high school students are held on Thursday evenings at 7:00. They meet at the youth house next door to the church building. High school students also meet on Sunday mornings and evenings.

Young Adults

The young adult group provides a welcoming atmosphere for early-career aged young people. The Young Adults meet every Sunday morning at 11:00.

Adult Bible Study

Four choices for adult Bible study are provided every Sunday morning at 11:00 and an early bird class at 8:30. Studies include verse by verse studies and topical studies.

Prayer Partners

Prayer Partners is a women’s group for widowed, divorced, or single ladies.

Senior Saints

Once you get past fifty, the fun has just begun. Whether retired, just plain tired, or active as ever, the over-50 group of the church provides refreshment, ministry, and times of valuable fellowship.
